If the package weigh will be greater than 1kg, an additional shipping payment may be sought. (Please remember that shipping costs include the cost of packaging and some travel, as well as the actual postage cost). Where a package to be sent to a UK address is too heavy for 2nd Class shipping, we will be happy to use Royal Mail's Standard Parcels service instead, but please bear in mind that this can sometimes be more expensive than using 1st Class mail. Please be aware that we mail items every day except Sunday, Monday, Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. If you require your purchase urgently, please contact the us as soon as your order is placed, so appropriate arrangements can be made. ADDITIONAL SHIPPING SERVICES - Where the purchase price is in excess of £30.00 GBP, and the item is to be sent to a UK ADDRESS, it will be dispatched by Recorded Delivery, or by Special Delivery Next Day where the winning bid is in excess of £100.00 GBP. In either case there will be no extra cost to the customer. Where the purchase price is in excess of £50.00 GBP, and the item is to be sent to an address outside of the UK, Royal Mail's 'Airsure' and 'International Signed For' services will be offered as an option. Customers whose purchases do not meet the criteria set out above are welcome to request that their goods are despatched using any of the appropriate services, in ehich case an additional charge will be sought. SHIPPING NOTES - It is our responsibility to get the item to you in the condition described. We take this obligation seriously, so... We ship our books in a waterproof bag, inside a bubble lined envelope. For all non-UK buyers, and some UK buyers, we also put the book inside a bubble bag before putting it in the envelope. All of our packaging is new, to give maximum protection to contents. We use printed labels to limit instances of non-delivery, and always include a return address on the package. All of our shipping is done using Royal Mail, the UK postal service. Occassionally, we may use an alternative carrier where Royal Mail is unable to take a package. Certificates of Posting are held for all packages shipped. We are happy to ship anywhere in the world, and have shipped successfully to many countries including theUnited States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Mexico, Peru, Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Russia. In our case we have set this period at 7 working days from placing the order, or receipt of your goods. If you have received the item and wish to return it to us and claim a refund, please... Email us within 7 days of receipt of the item to confirm that you would like a refund, together with the reason why. We will advise how to return the item, and the steps you need to take to confirm it has been sent. If you simply no longer want the item, we will refund the purchase price, all shipping fees are your responsibility. If the item differs substantially from the description shown in the listing, we will request photographic evidence of the discrepancy, and if we agree with your claim we will refund your original payment, together with any shipping fees paid to return the item. All returned items must be in the same condition they were received in. If the condition is different, refunds MAY be made, but only at our discretion. Please note that the items we sell are used.
